Corruption of the Blood Moon

[Content Warning: the following game takes place in a fantasy world that is being infected by a Power that drives all living things to unspeakable violence. While the setting may be adjusted - either  lessening the severity of the infection or taking place before or after its spread - the following description and the manual itself describe the world at the height of this spreading Corruption.]

The world of Caerpavva is alive with magic. The People that call it home are blessed by the Six Mothers, the six moons that circle Caerpavva. Every 10,000 years, a seventh joins them. The Exiled One, the Queen of Worms, The Blood Moon; She has dozens of names and all of them are a curse. Under Her sanguine light, all living things of Caerpavva are afflicted by Her Corruption which drives them all to a violent mania. As the infection spreads, the structures that hold up society crumble. Only the Lunar Witches stand as a bulwark against its spread.

Lunar Witches are those who have learned - through study and with rituals passed down through generations of Witches - how to weild the blessings of all Six Mothers. Throughout Caerpavva, covens frantically rewrite the wards on city walls, keeping residents safe from the Blood Moon's light for one more night. Others bravely seek out survivors and bring them to safety while a talented few search for a cure for the spreading Corruption. 

How long can those enchanted walls last before the Corrupted overcome them? How often can a coven venture into the red night before they succumb to the Corruption themselves? What sacrifices will a cure demand? How long until there is nowhere to hide from the Corruption of the Blood Moon?

Built with the Breathless system from FariRPGs, Corruption of the Blood Moon was created for the Eternal TTRPG Jam.  In it, Players will take on the role of Lunar Witches, trying to do what they can to preserve their world from the influence of the Blood Moon. Characters can weild the powers of the Six Moons in a variety of creative ways. They may discover secrets and Loot out in the crumbling world of Caerpavva. They may find a cure or they may find their end, turned by the Corruption of the Blood Moon.
