Secret Communion

There is a legend of a mortal who caught the heart of a god. The mortal was accustomed to worship, but the god did not know its fetters. The god could re-knit the weft and weave of creation, and the mortal trembled at their power. They both knew that other worshipers would burn the mortal for staining the god’s divinity with carnal emotion. Yet, they clung to their love in a secret communion. 

Secret Communion is a two-player role-playing game about a romance that blooms between a mortal and their god.  Over the course of this game, their relationship will develop as they struggle to forge a path together. Players will use a deck of playing cards to create these characters and to guide them through their world by answering a series of questions. No two games will be the same. Characters can steal some time to be alone with their beloved. They can quote from a holy scripture that will never exist or read omens of a possible future. Most importantly, they must keep their love a secret. How will their romance grow? How will their story end?
